Delete Your HedgePay account

How to request account deletion

  1. Send an email to [email protected] from the same email address you use in the HedgePay app.

  2. In your email, include:

    • Your full name

    • Your registered email address (if different)

    • A short message confirming you want to delete your account

  3. Identity verification:
    Please attach a short video of yourself holding a piece of paper with today’s date and the sentence:

    “I want to delete my HedgePay account.”
    This step is required to prevent fraudulent deletion requests. The video will only be used to verify your identity and will be permanently deleted after 90 days.

What happens next?

  • You’ll receive a confirmation email when your request is received.

  • You have 30 days after submitting your request to log in and retrieve any remaining funds from your HedgePay wallet.

  • After this 30-day period, your account and all personal data will be permanently deleted.

  • Recovery will no longer be possible through your bank account.
    For crypto transfers, recovery is only possible if you have previously exported and safely kept your wallet’s private keys. Without your private keys, recovery is not possible.

  • All your data will be deleted unless we are legally required to retain certain records (for example, for regulatory compliance).

  • Your verification video will be deleted 90 days after your request is processed and will not be used for any other purpose.
