Cookie Policy
Version 0.0.1 · Updated 3 September 2026
1. What this covers
This page explains the cookies and similar storage this website uses, and how to control them. Cookies are small files placed on your device by a website. “Similar storage” here means browser session storage, which works like a cookie but is cleared when you close the tab.
2. Categories
Essential. Required for the site to work. No consent needed.
- __cf_bm — set by Cloudflare, purpose: bot protection for the site and its forms (Turnstile itself sets no cookie), duration: 30 minutes.
- hp_geo (session storage) — the country we infer for you, used to show a suggestion banner. Cleared when the tab closes.
- hp_geo_banner (session storage) — remembers that you dismissed the suggestion banner.
- hp_country (session storage) — remembers the last country page you visited so navigation stays in that country.
- hp_cookie_consent (cookie) — remembers your cookie choices. Duration: 12 months.
Analytics. For visitors in the European Union, set only after you accept them in the banner. For visitors elsewhere, set by default; you can turn them off via the footer link.
- Google Analytics — cookies _ga and _ga_3GLW6WHCZH, set by Google, purpose: usage statistics, duration: up to 2 years. Data may be transferred to the United States; see the Privacy Policy.
We do not use marketing or personalisation cookies. If that changes, this page and the banner will be updated before any such cookie is set.
3. Your choices
If you visit from the European Union, a banner asks whether you accept analytics cookies, and nothing non-essential is set until you choose. Visitors from other countries see no banner; analytics is on by default and can be turned off at any time. Everyone can change their choice via the “Cookie settings” link in the footer. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings; blocking essential cookies may stop forms from working.
